Olivia Ladbrooke-Chartes

Olivia’s mixed media work focuses on conceptual concerns regarding the impermanence of life and its legacy. Found pre-digital photographs documenting unknown biographies are used as a starting point in her work. Her materials and working process are key to the exploration and portrayal of everyday life, examining the temporary, on-going and non-reversable nature of the human condition and the corresponding memories which fade over time.
